The Freedom of Information Act was passed in 2000 to provide public access to information held by public authorities. Its premise is that people have a right to know about the activities of public authorities, unless there is a good reason for them not to.
We are committed to being an open and transparent organisation and there is already a large amount of information available on our website. If you cannot find what you are looking for, or require more information, you can make a request to us under the Freedom of Information Act. Before you do, you may wish to search our disclosure log to see if your question has already been answered. The log is divided up into zones for ease of reference. If you still wish to make a request, you can do so by filling in the general enquiry form.
Information in the disclosure log may be used for non-commercial research purposes only. You will need permission from the copyright holder for any other use (such as to publication or supply of information to the public). In most cases, the copyright will be owned by us. It must be noted that information in the disclosure log may become out of date over time.
