Our ultimate aim is to achieve zero deaths and serious injuries on the roads in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

From this page you will be able to find a wealth of free education resources and learn about our safety initiatives that we are using to achieve this aim.

All our road safety is based upon The Fatal Four – the four main causes of KSI (Killed or Seriously Injured) on our roads.

The Fatal Four are:

  • Driving and using a mobile phone (or device)
  • Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
  • Driving whilst not wearing a seatbelt
  • Driving whilst speeding

Remember the A,B,C of road safety

A – Awareness (traffic is dangerous and can hurt people)

B –  Behaviour (things you should do to stay safer)

C – Choice and campaigning (how to make safer choices and to help others make these choices too)
